Sam went the extra mile the whole way. Open and clear at every step. I was happy enough that I hired him for my other startup too.
Built by someone who's been in your shoes
Nexera is not an agency with a floor of account managers. It's one operator who ran home service businesses first, now running the ads for a small number of contractors who want higher-margin work.
I lived the problem before I sold the fix.
I built a pest control business to 2,000+ customers and $150K a month. Then I rebuilt the sales infrastructure for a landscaping company doing nearly a million a year. Different trade, same problems.
I'm not a marketer claiming to understand your business. I lived it first.
You talk to me directly. Not a rep. Not an account manager. Me.
Why Nexera exists at all.
Running the pest control business taught me the thing most marketing people never learn: the hard part is not getting a phone to ring. The hard part is getting the right phone to ring, and then having something on the other end of it that turns the call into a job worth doing.
We got to 2,000+ customers and $150K a month. Not because of one clever ad, but because the whole path was built. The offer, the follow-up, the way a customer got handled after the sale. Take any one of those out and the number stops moving.
Then I rebuilt the sales infrastructure for a landscaping company doing close to a million a year. Completely different trade, completely different job sizes, and the exact same failures. Leads coming in that nobody called back fast enough. Good projects lost to whoever answered first. Owners taking on low-margin work because the schedule had a hole in it and there was no lever to pull.
That's the gap Nexera was built to close. Not ad management as a service, where you pay a retainer and get a report. The whole path, run by one person who has actually had to close the jobs at the end of it, and paid for only when a qualified homeowner is sitting on your calendar.
Pricing per booked estimate was the honest version of that. If I believe the system works, I should be willing to get paid when it does. If it doesn't, that should be my problem and not an invoice on your desk.
Four things we don't bend on.
Your leads are yours. They are never shared with three other roofers, never resold, never split. It caps how many clients we can take, which is the point.
No retainer for a month of activity. A booked estimate with a qualified homeowner is the unit. That keeps the incentive pointed at the only number you care about.
Set it and forget it is how costs climb. Every week the numbers get reviewed, losers get cut, and new creative goes in. It's the least glamorous part of this and it's the part that works.
Every booked estimate is tracked back to the ad and the market that produced it. Per-estimate pricing only works if the count is honest, so the count is honest.
Real shops. Real results.
Sam has helped our shop run a lot more efficiently. Responsive whenever we have a question, and we've learned so much through the process. Highly recommend.
I like how Sam applies his home service experience to my business. Prices fair and delivers on what he says.
Home improvement contractors with a real operation.
Crews, capacity, and work worth showing off. If that's you, the trade matters less than the operation behind it.
Is your market still open?
To keep every lead exclusive, we partner with a single home improvement contractor per trade in each area. Here's how to claim yours.
